City of Clay Environmental Committee
Recent Work-
The Committee has been meeting and working with AT&T representatives for improvements to the appearance of the V-RAD cabinets that have been placed throughout the City.

The Committee has been promoting the Alabama PALS Adopt-A-Mile, Adopt-An-Area and Clean Cam
altpus program by obtaining then distributing literature and applications throughout the City.

This Committee has been working to improve landscaping at public buildings, including the Clay Public Library and City Hall.

Since the City of Clay is participating in the Alabama Year of Small Towns and Downtowns, we want visitors to be impressed with how attractive our city is. We had a work day at City Hall and the library in preparation of two Small Town events, the grand opening of the library and the unveilling of a historical marker.

Looking forward, this Committee is hoping to have a tree planting project in the fall.
