Recent Work:
The committee recently made adjustments to the hours and cost for renting the center.
The committee has also been searching for new trips and activities that are appropriate for the physical limitations of the gradually aging membership.
Function:
The city of Clay Seniors Advisory Committee helps co-directors Linda Plummer and Beth Petty with outreach, recommending new activities, relating needs and concerns from center members and encouraging community involvement.
The committee meets quarterly on the third Wednesday of the first month of each quarter at 1 p.m. at the Senior Activity Center.
